Christmas Activities!

This is a few of us when we went to Heritage Park. We all went up there as a family one Friday night. It was ultra cold, luckily there were fire pits all over the place to keep us warm.

Mike, Jamon, Terry, Kristen, Drew, Brynley, Kim, Jen, Jaron, Brytin, and Taizley.
Every year around Christmas time we decorate sugar cookies as a family. This has been Mike's family tradition for many years. It is really a lot of fun. And bonus, the cookies are way good. Unless you end up eating one of Jaron's mega frosted, sprinkled, and sugar gelled cookies.

We had a friend Christmas Party and it was a lot of fun. There were a lot of friends who showed up, which was fun having all of them together. We had dinner, visiting, a white elephant exchange and a christmas card exchange. Everyone had a great time visiting and hanging out with each other. Special thanks to Dan and Dave for letting us have the party at their place, and to Jesse for making all of the beautiful invitations.

You gotta hate when this happens to you!!!

Before...
After...

This is what I saw when I came out of work. I had been had. Dang it! It took me forever to unwrap my car. I had an armful of things, and all i had to help me cut it off were my keys. It was pretty embarrassing. Some man walking through the parking lot was laughing saying "I haven't seen that done for a long time. That's funny." Yes sir it is funny, but not funny that your LAUGHING AT ME.

This wonderful job was done by my fellow co-workers Nate, Bill, and Jeff.

October! What a great month!!!

Scuba Diving out at Blue Lake
This was a really long boardwalk you had to walk down to get to the lake. It's really not (2 miles Julie) that far, but with all of that heavy equipment that is strapped onto you it seems like the longest walk of your life. ;) Julie
Noel and Mike getting geared up.
Mike at the Salt Flats
Jaron, the Pro wrestler. You would never believe by the size of him how strong he is. He wins everyone he ever competes against.

Hike in Big Cottonwood Canyon

We go hiking every Saturday morning, and these are a couple pictures of our last Hike. It was so pretty, and its a great work out. I can't wait to go for another Hike.

Camping with the Tripps!

The views above the cabin where we hiked. It was Breath-taking!

Practicing shooting our guns.

Tree Tipping. Sounds like a strange thing, but it really is way fun. I strongly recommend to all. Except it is very dangerous. We had a few close calls.
4 wheeling

Horse Back Riding. Which was a fabulous time.

Every year we go to this cabin in Spring Canyon. It is so beautiful. There is absolutely no one around, and it is just peaceful and quiet. We spent the weekend there with our family. It was a great weekend away.

The Last Warm Bear Lake Trip of 2009

Cute Jaron let us make silly sand people over the top of him.
This one was supposed to be a Fried Chicken.
Nothings better than getting out of the FAMOUSLY cold Bear Lake and taking a nap on the warm sand!!!
Mike enjoying the Sun!!!
This one was a obese Mermaid.

We have one more Bear Lake trip planned, but I am afraid it will not be nearly as warm. I am sure it will still be pretty, and not so crowded.
